The Lodge

Welcome to our very unique Estancia Los Helechos, an iconic family ranch nestled in the  heart of northern Patagonia , with over  6000 acres of land and 3 miles of shoreline on Lago Huechulaufquen ( 31 kms from Junin de los Andes in the Province of Neuquen)  including 3 fast flowing rivers with charming waterfalls, all dominated by the view of the majestic snow capped  Lanin volcano.

We would be delighted to provide you and your family and friends with a wide choice of activities,  ranging from horse riding, boating,  fly fishing , trekking,  bird watching  or  simply relaxing  in a comfortable chair enjoying the beautiful scenery .

If you enjoy fishing, apart from casting from our nearby shoreline, a short boat ride would allow us to take you to a number of charming and productive spots along the coast of the lake. .  by the way,  our farm lies just a few miles away from  the famous “Boca del Chimehuin”  , considered by many to be one of the top trout fishing spots worldwide.

Experience comfort in our three elegantly appointed en suite bedrooms. As  you step inside our home you will be greeted  by the warmth of a cozy fireplace and a welcome drink, perfect for relaxing after a day of adventures, followed by home-made meals and an excellent selection of fine argentine wines..
